A landscape image rendered for my drawing III class.
This image was created through the use of drawing a grayscale altitude map in photoshop, which I then imported into Bryce and rendered.

This landscape starts in the lower right with brooding waves and dark, jagged rocks. It is a foreboding scene that soon ends as the eye moves toward the upper right. A light fog grows thicker while the colors turn more calming and magical as we are brought toward a pair of towering cliffs that stand like mysterious gates to the unknown. Could there be better things on the other side--something to take us away from the darkness that surrounds us?
